MailChimp just made it easier than ever to create great looking email campaigns. We've added a built-in email designer tool. Now, anybody can create beautiful HTML email templates that perfectly match your brand, and work in all the major email programs. And there's no coding involved. You don't have to know one bit of HTML!

We know a lot of our customers are control freaks and design snobs (and darn proud of it!) and you chose MailChimp because you could use your own templates.
So first and foremost, we want to tell you that you're not required to use our built-in email templates. You can just copy-paste your own HTML just like you've always done in the past.
However, we highly recommend that you setup some templates for yourself (or your clients), because even if you're a kick-ass web designer, templates will save you soooo much time.
Here's how it'll work the first time you log in:
- Click the "Create Campaign" button
- You'll be asked to create your own template
- Design your template, and save it under the "My Templates" tab
- We'll walk you step-by-step through building your campaign
Here are some ideas for templates that you can set up in MailChimp:
- Company Newsletter (duh)
- Simple company letterhead (for quick announcements to your list)
- Event invitations
- Setup templates for all your clients
- Setup accounts for all your clients, design their templates, and let them handle the rest!
